Maranatha Volunteers International needs your help for the Ciudad del Cielo (City of Heaven) school campus in the Dominican Republic. Construction on this project is nearing completion, and it is beautiful. But just like everywhere else in the world, costs have gone up since the project’s start, and additional funding is needed to finish strong.

A generous donor has offered a match of up to $250,000 to help Maranatha with this important project. To receive the match, funds must be submitted by the campus’ dedication day, July 26, 2025.

The school site is in North Santo Domingo. This area has more than 80 Seventh-day Adventist Churches, but no option for Adventist education. Ciudad del Cielo will meet this vital need. As the school’s classrooms and large church with seating for 400 are nearing completion, families in the community are taking notice. Parents are seeing campus signs, and pulling over on the spot to enroll their children. The school will provide an early and primary curriculum that’s pivotal for students’ intellectual and spiritual growth. And when its youngest members are uplifted, so is the entire community.
